On The Lake Beneath The Shoreline – 290111

Sponsored by the letter K.

New track. Programmed up two organ parts using the Purple B voice off the Juno-D. As the name suggests, the voice sounds (vaguely) like the type of distorted sound Jon Lord from Deep Purple would’ve got off his old Hammond organ. Obviously, my programming resembles Lord’s playing. In. No. Way.

Edited the parts in CE5 and recorded them to audio via the Behringer mixer and the Phonic Firefly.

Might be busy tomorrow doing something else. But that depends very much on someone else…

A Truth You Can Happily Accept – 100111

Sponsored by the letters K, L and M.

Another new track, begad…

Ran up a rough rhythm track in CE5 using various rhythm kits from HALion One.

Recorded four different bass partson the Tascam 2488 using the Jazz Bass and the Bass Pod XT. The parts weren’t particularly difficult from a melodic point of view, but there were a lot of stops, and I’m not particularly tidy in me stops, so there was an awful lot of takes and retakes. What I have should edit out OK, (I hope…).

More bass work tomorrow, hopefully.

Regards,

djp
